The Top Gun Experience is set to land in Las Vegas in the summer of 2028 near The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower. While an immersive version of the Wizard of Oz is set to take over the Sphere in August.
Paramount Global and Advent Allen Entertainment have announced plans for a Top Gun Las Vegas Immersive Experience at the Strat. Their partnership will help transform the iconic Top Gun movie franchise into one of the most adrenaline-charged attraction to ever to hit the Vegas Strip. Located on an undeveloped site at The STRAT Hotel, this high-octane destination is set to ignite passions and forge unforgettable memories in one spectacular location. Scheduled to launch summer of 2028, Top Gun Las Vegas will be a revolutionary fusion of daring rides and cinematic storytelling.
This bold new venture will seamlessly combine breathtaking visuals, high-energy entertainment, and the legendary spirit of Top Gun, complete with fighter jet simulators and more. Adding to the fun, guests will embark on a pulse-pounding mission using state-of-the-art thrill ride systems and immersive technology that will redefine the meaning of adventure, then kick back at the reimagined Top Gun: Maverick’s Hard Deck bar and restaurant featuring live piano singalongs
We hear rumors. Sometimes we share them, and some times we wait for confirmation. That’s where we were with the Wizard of Oz Experience at the Las Vegas Sphere. But now, the New York Post has seemingly confirmed the rumors, so let’s get into this. First, understand that from a profit perspective, the Sphere has made more money from their independent projects rather than their big concerts. Their “Postcard from Earth” film being a prime example. So, the owners of the property are keen to generate more original content.
Enter the $80 million Wizard of Oz Experience. The original film is a timeless film which debuted before World War II. Now, the 1939 classic will be altered so that it plays on the amazing high definition screen, and of course we are excited to hear the Lollipop Guild from the immersive sound system.
