The Hard Rock Las Vegas and Guitar Hotel is set to become a landmark destination on the Las Vegas Strip when it opens in spring 2027. The expansive casino complex will feature a 174,000-square-foot gaming area with 2,000 slot machines and 212 table games. The striking guitar-shaped hotel will add nearly 600 rooms to the existing 3,000 rooms of The Mirage, alongside enhanced theater capacity, increased conference space, and a variety of new dining options. Hard Rock officially began the Mirage demolition shortly after the property closed on July 17, 2024, launching a 30-month transformation project aimed at rebranding and expanding the property with a larger casino, a 600-foot guitar-shaped hotel, and additional entertainment offerings. In December 2021, Hard Rock International acquired The Mirage for $1.08 billion and took operational control in 2023. The property will remain closed until its anticipated opening in 2027.
