Las Vegas summer kickoff 2026

28 May 2026

Memorial Day traditionally kicks off the summer travel and vacation season, and if your plans include Las Vegas, we have you covered. Find all the major concerts, new resorts opening, amazing attractions, and fireworks displays from June to September.

Las Vegas is cranking up the energy for Summer 2026 with a massive lineup of entertainment that spans from the Strip down to the neon heart of Fremont Street. Topping the marquee is the nation’s largest ongoing pyrotechnic display.

Celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, the "America250 Fireworks Celebration" lights up the sky every Saturday night from June 6 through July 25. Produced by the legendary Fireworks by Grucci, these eight-minute spectacles launch at 9 p.m. from various rooftops across the city—including Caesars Palace, the Venetian, and downtown venues—synchronized to music broadcasted on local radio.

For world-class entertainment that won't cost a dime, Fremont Street Experience is hosting its ninth annual "Downtown Rocks" free summer concert series. Music fans can catch major acts like Fuel, Finger Eleven, and Sleeping with Sirens performing completely free under the massive Viva Vision canopy. Meanwhile, sports stadiums and arenas are hosting massive, big-name headliners all summer long.

Gambling enthusiasts are circling July 18 on their calendars for the return of "Slotapalooza" at Circa Resort & Casino. Billed as the World’s Largest Slot Party, this 21-and-over event features an all-day slot tournament with a $15,000 prize pool, major gaming manufacturer showcases, and an open bar to wrap up the night.

Finally, the sports world is buzzing over the highly anticipated, dramatic rematch between boxing legends Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. Originally slated for the Sphere, the professional bout is shifting to an MGM venue like T-Mobile Arena or the MGM Grand Garden Arena, with talks moving the epic fight date into mid-August.
