Eagles Las Vegas residency and Margaritaville closing

28 March 2024

This week's news is all about concerts in Las Vegas, with rumors of an Eagles residency at the Sphere on the horizon.

Plus, Margaritaville Las Vegas has announced they are closing their doors soon. All this and an online slot for the Easter holiday.

Concerts in Las Vegas offer a spectacular blend of entertainment, glamour, and unparalleled musical experiences, making Sin City a premier destination for music enthusiasts worldwide. From legendary residencies by iconic performers to dynamic festivals featuring diverse genres, Las Vegas is synonymous with top-tier live music events. This summer and fall there will be many opportunities to see some of the most popular concerts in Las Vegas that may soon be gone forever, including Lady Gaga and Adele.

Sad news to report, as one of our favorite places to eat is going away. Margaritta Las Vegas is closing it’s doors after more than two decades of welcoming guests… and we’re sad. Not as sad as when we lost Jimmy last September, but still sad. Margaritta Las Vegas takes up a huge amount of space in Flamingo at over 12,000 square feet.

The “Long Goodbye” tour just got longer, as an Eagles Las Vegas residency at the Sphere is set begin this fall. The legendary group will land in the new venue following U2, Phish, and some dead heads. And they are doing this despite finishing their “farewell” tour, which began all the way back in September of 2023. A specifics number of shows has not been published, and representatives from the Sphere were careful to not confirm anything just yet. The New York Post also reached out to band management for comment on an Eagles Las Vegas residency but none was given.
